This short course on two consecutive Saturdays will look at what types of writing projects might attract public and private funding and how to make a good application. It will focus on funding from Arts Council England through their Lottery Project Grants scheme and their Developing Your Creative Practice scheme.
The course will look at the qualities of a fundable project, making a case for funding, preparing a budget and how to complete key sections of applications forms.
There will be some tasks to be completed between the two sessions of the course.
This course is intended for writers at all stages of their careers, including beginners.

This course runs on two consecutive Saturdays: 18th January and 25th January 2020, 2 pm – 4 pm. Please note, it is essential that you attend both sessions. You must sign up for the full course even if you cannot attend all dates. No partial course ticket is available. The prices listed include both sessions.
