Based in the heart of Exeter on Exeter’s historic canal & quayside, the Centre offers an unrivalled purpose built outdoor activity and training Centre in one of the most picturesque areas of Devon’s County City.
With a key focus on the community, the Centre offers courses, tuition, activity sessions and equipment hire all-year-round to all ages and all ability levels.
Courses, Tuition & Clubs
It’s not just for kids! Here at Haven Banks we offer a variety of courses for adults, children, families and friends and as a recognised Royal Yachting Association Training Centre and British Canoeing Quality Mark Centre we can also offer accreditation and certification for a number of activities.
School Holiday Activities
The best ever school holiday adventures. As an Ofsted registered Childcare Provider, school holiday activities and courses are available at Haven Banks throughout all but the Christmas holidays. One day to week long courses and activity sessions are available for 5-8 year olds and 8-14 year.

Knock their socks off with an adrenaline-charged birthday adventure at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre. With awesome adventure activities and après activity party rooms available, Haven Banks offers unforgettable and unparalleled children’s parties. Packages are available to suit every budget.
Equipment Hire
Why not hire your own equipment and head out on an adventure with your family and friends. Haven Banks hires Canoes, stand up paddleboards, sit-on-top kayaks and mountain bikes all-year-round. With changing rooms, toilets and showers available. Advanced booking recommended.
